Sheet eye straps – tough and weatherproof
Although they’re almost identical to wire eye straps, the metal used for sheet eye straps has been flattened which makes it perfect for holding thing down. Often used in the marine industry for securing items on deck, they are also useful in making saddlery and other horse-related items. The idea is they allow you to create a definite attachment point on the surface required, so that any rope or metal is held tightly.
